Wyoming Halloween Game

It appears that the Wyoming game this year is on Halloween night! Unfortunately this presents a problem to parents, like us, whose child(ren) love this night for some ghostly fun. We haven't decided how things are going to work with us, but Andy will you be bringing the boys? Just wondering if there will be any festivities that will be child oriented up at the lot? If there will be more children then Tristian then maybe we could consider something a little different. If not, then one or both of us might stay home and take him out.

Utah- Utah State Info

he Utes kick off the 2009 season with a very familiar foe - an opponent who is in just as much transition as Utah. It will also mark the return of Gary Andersen, who left the the Utes to take the head gig up in Logan after the Aggies fired struggling coach Brent Guy.

Those struggles last year have pretty much been the norm for Utah State, who haven't produced a winning record in over a decade. Their push through mediocrity has forced them back in this series, which is evident by their lack of any recent success against Utah. It's probably unlikely to expect - in his first season - that to really change. Though the Aggies do offer an inexperienced Ute offense a test.

Those offensive questions are the biggest issues facing Utah this season. Last year, Brian Johnson cemented himself as the most successful quarterback in Utah history and his loss will not be easy to replace. The fact the Utes have yet to decide on a starting quarterback at this time also creates a bit of doubt heading into Thursday's game. Read More

Menus

Probably a little early for this but The Popelkas have already made the following suggestions for food. I think we'll just use the following list to start discussion and go from there ( I edited out some of the juicy repartee):

9/3 (Thursday) 7:00 - Utah State Aggies -
screw the trailer hassle, everyone show up shit-faced and we can do shots in the tailgate lot by the port-o-potty. I'll even bring the Tequila. Maybe we should all bring our Sugar Bowl props? Andy, you can wear my feather hat and Brian, you can wear my bra.

9/26 (Saturday) 5:30 - Louisville - The mascot is some sort of bird, I think...screw the theme.. How about tri-tip or ribs?? I would be happy to do either of the meats, I'm equal opportunity.

10/24 (Saturday) 2:00 - Air Force - another f'in bird
Brunch? Quiche, lots of bacon, mimosas, bellinis, bloody marys?

10/31 (Saturday) - 6:00 - Wyoming - Halloween - yikes.
Andy, this is your deal. Can you come? If so, we should all dress up like Cowboys. OK, maybe not, but we should dress up and eat gross things like pigs butt and jello brains.

11/7 (Saturday) 4:00 - New Mexico - Lobos (wolf?) I think it sounds CRAZY!
How about tacos, burritos, yada, yada, yada - and TEQUILA....Annie?

11/21 (Saturday) 2:00 - San Diego State -
I like the soup/chili cook-off. Basically, because I like when everyone thinks they have the best chili. I get a kick out of watching this kind of shit go down.
